A new advance now hits the ease-of-payments timeline: the ability to make payments and access services with a simple hand motion. Solving New Challenges
Although facial recognition technology is already widely used around the world, developing touchless palm technology presented new and complex challenges. For it to work properly, we had to build hardware and software that could recognize individual palms in extreme lighting conditions and in different positions.
That included developing a new type of camera and a two-step process that recognizes both the lines on the palm of your hand and the veins within it, making the reading superaccurate.
Once we figured it out, however, palm scanning offers several advantages over facial recognition. For example, it is easier to tell the difference between twins, and easier for people of varying heights and physical abilities to use.
The Weixin Palm Scan Payments service was officially launched at 7-Eleven stores in Guangdong on September 5th, 2023. To activate, users align their palm with the sensor on the palm scan device, then scan the screen’s QR code to register on their mobile phones. Upon successful registration, users can make payments by scanning their palms directly. After making a payment, users receive an instant notification of the deducted amount on their mobile phones.

PT. Mars Sistem Integrasi as the principal provider of Anechoic Chamber. PT. Mars Sistem Integrasi introduced NXVU and ATMOS, a general application for monitoring and controlling devices to support Human-to-Machine (H2M) and
Machine-to-machine (M2M) systems.
The NXVU Antenna and Satellite Testing System is a custom-built system that can operate up to 18 GHz. It features an automatic measurement mechanism controlled by computer software that simultaneously processes data acquisition results to characterize the antenna and other objects emitting and receiving the electromagnetic waves being measured.
The NXVU Antenna and Satellite Testing System is housed in a 6m (L) x 4m (W) x 4m (H) anechoic chamber equipped with signal-absorbing material that eliminates reflections and dampens electromagnetic waves.
The Anechoic Chamber also includes a 4m (L) x 3m (W) x 3m (H) control room where all measurement control devices and operators operate.

CubeSats are a class of small satellites with a 10 cm (3.9 in) cube form factor. CubeSats have a mass of no more than 2 kg per unit and often use commercially available (COTS) components for their electronics and structure. CubeSats are deployed into orbit from the International Space Station or launched as secondary payloads on launch vehicles. As of December 2023, more than 2,300 CubeSats have been launched.
CubeSats are available in several sizes, based on the standard CubeSat “unit” referred to as 1U.
CubeSat EXA Kratos 1B Platform. This is a small-diameter (1U) CubeSat satellite, but unique because it is based on a deployable solar array, resulting in higher electrical power output for a 1U CubeSat. It has also been proven, with two similar satellites launched in 2013 and still in operation.


It also utilizes a magnetorquer concept on each side for attitude control, and uses an embedded antenna mounted behind the solar array, making the design simpler and lighter.
The Scalable Satellite Object module (CubeSat 1U and LEO Gateway) serves as a learning tool and practical training for students to understand the mini-satellite system comprehensively, from the power subsystem and communications to mission control and it utilizes several unique technologies.
The Scalable Space Shuttle Object module serves as a visual and conceptual learning tool for students to comprehensively understand the operating principles, design, and technology of space systems.
